I double-majored in Illustration and Graphic Design at the University of Applied Sciences Muenster. After working freelance as a graphic designer for 3 years, focusing on infographics and information architecture, I went on to write and draw my first comic book Rustblossom.
I continued to create personal projects, while doing more and more research on storytelling. In 2015, I got hired by The Oatley Academy Of Visual Storytelling. Together with Adam Westbrook and Chris Oatley I teach The Storytellers' Summit, a self-guided course on storytelling and personal projects.
My approach to storytelling—no matter the genre or format—is that of design thinking. I design emotional experiences.
